Bu süreçte çelik sektöründe çok ciddi istihdam daralması oldu. Genel seçim havası içinde bu hissedilmese de sektörde birçok kişi işini kaybetti. Ve ne yazık ki yakın bir zamanda iyileşme emareleri görülmüyor. Yöneticilerin bu konuda önlem almaları gerekiyor.

Scrap will be exported from the East coast by loads of ships heading to the starving Giant in China. They will have to have that for EAF GROWTH! Not to mention other developing countries.
The 2 biggest acquisitions this past year was Cleveland Cliffs acquiring AKS STEEL and AM steel. How in the world can you miss the value play and the synergies involved? They picked up EAF'S and they use Green Steel to run their BOF's. Not to mention HBI,DRI, AND MORE THAN LIKELY Pig Iron. These are all green technologies. Really?
